Stadtkern Restaurant in Winterberg

Very nice, attentive service. Very tasty food. We were there with 7 people and all had different, very tasty dishes. The price-performance ratio is okay. We can only thank you and definitely recommend it!

Nice location in the middle of town. Well attended and nice seating. Service friendly but unfortunately sometimes overwhelmed. Food was okay, but recommendation, the wild boar ragout. The rating only refers to the outside area

With a lot of luck, Aperol are 0.2l (I guess less!) And cost € 7.60?! Better go down the street to Alm Dorf! Costs less, are bigger and the mixing ratio is also much better! (However, the staff was very nice, even if they didn't really respond to my demand for value for money)

We have always enjoyed eating here over the past few years and this time we were really disappointed. Empty restaurant, assigned a table, then move it (4 chairs before and 4 chairs after). The food was average, the napkin dumplings with the game dish were unfortunately only warmed up and soaked with fat. Sat in front of empty glasses ... after criticism no apology or courtesy. What a shame.

On August 2nd, 2020 we were guests in the restaurant The following content is my opinion summary NOT GOOD Why? 1. Service was bad 2. out of 5 ordered meals came only 4 3. Reorders were forgotten Summary: There were 4 different dishes which you have to say afterwards not one of them was really good The fifth meal only came when the other four had already been eaten and as an excuse there was a Coke but this was brought very late. The price / performance ratio is NOT right here at all Conclusion: no recommendation

The game dishes are awesome. But the other food was very well presented and we enjoyed it very much. We would love to come back.

Everything in the center was full, so we could have known ... a few tables but occupied. Operation is not very enthusiastic. The food has little taste. And the decor is boring. Too tight, but not really modern, little atmosphere. And then also bright lamps. We were honestly sorry that we had not eaten at our hotel.

Looks very nice, service has no interest in guests, eat say good but did not taste. We were with 8 ladies, 1 had very bad meat, we complained directly but are not taken seriously, 2 ladies did not say so tasty and original We do not come back to all. Food okay but not more. Rinderkraftbrühe the definitely not homemade for € 5.50 without real vegetables or deposit, with a slice of white toast .. Main course was fine. Ambience really nice but we will not return. There is more loving food in the immediate neighborhood. Pity!

We are very often in Winterberg and a visit to the restaurant of the Hotel Hessenhof is almost a tradition. The dishes have always been very good. In particular, I can recommend game dishes. Wild from our own hunt in great quality and prepared with a twist. We always come back!

Bad Essen Essen fleish roh / badly eaten schnitzel was even raw with stomach problems as a result / service rude and had no attention for customers

Everything was right during our visit. The dishes were very good. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was also very courteous and customer-oriented. All in all, a successful evening.

Food was good, prices acceptable. With one exception very nice service.

First got wrong food, then get the desired food but inedible, then quickly get spare food which could be prepared quickly (Jägerschnitzel with chips) my husband was long finished with food! Also this was the worst schnitzel I have ever received. And the time we were there 5x wrong food was brought to dentist ? ... and in the evening and next day we both had stomach problems Never again!!!

Good kitchen, only very unfortunate that the service consisted of a very grumpy and rude old man. But certainly the game that is on the map is worth it.
